Company English Courses

Make a real impact
Almost every small- to medium-size enterprise conducts business internationally, and speaking English workforce is no longer an option but a must-have asset. It can take as little as 6 months for your staff to train in Business English to significantly improve their English language proficiency.
If you'd like to have an English-speaking workforce that can participate in meetings with your clients, make pitch perfect presentations, reply to emails from your prospects and draft compelling business proposals, you're in the right place.
With corporate e-commerce background in London, UK and expertise in online content creation and 8 years of experience in teaching English as second language, I've got spot on business know-how, and I love sharing my experience with my students, so they can not only learn a language, but also grasp key elemnts of business culture in English speaking countries.

About the course
It's a topic-based course where I asses your target group of students and design a course framework tailored to their particular needs and interests.
Unlike with ridiculously overpriced textbook-based courses offered by most language schools, no time is wasted here, and your staff can focus on working on developing skills they really need; for example, taking part in meetings, preparing presentations or writing emails in English.
Here are the most common vocabulary building blocks I cover with my Business English students:
-
meetings
-
phone calls
-
presentations
-
emails
-
business proposals
-
formal vs informal style
-
talking about your work
-
talking about your company
-
travelling for work
-
e-commerce and social media
-
buying and selling
-
money
-
networking
-
business culture in English speaking countries
The coure also covers elements of grammar and pronunciation for greater intelligibility.
Materials
I utilise my own materials as well as a series of self-reference study books Business Vocabulary in Use by Cambridge University Press. I prefer to use real-life online resources, short business-related articles and videos that can help your staff learn natural English expressions: Business English that is actually used in the UK or US.
